The company revealed the all-new Tata Ultra EV 7M, a zero-emission, intra-city electric bus planned and plotted to befit the demands for urban mass mobility. The 21-seater Ultra EV 7M, charged by a 213kW electric motor and IP67-rated 200kWh Li-ion battery, has affirmed a range of up to 160 km in a single charge and approaches with quick charging potential, allowing a full charge in two-and-half hours. According to the company, the easy-to-manoeuvre Ultra EV 7M is planned to intercept slight lanes and high-traffic urban outlooks.
Modern safety features like electronic stability control and electronic braking are added to the all-electric drivetrain. The bus has an Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and an Automatic Passenger Counter, both of which meet strict safety and security requirements. Regenerative braking is another feature that the Ultra EV 7M has, which increases both its efficiency and range.
