Tata Motors has introduced the updated 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift in India, bringing design refinements, enhanced features, and revised battery options. The electric SUV receives its first major update since launch and aims to offer improved practicality and technology for urban buyers.

The facelifted Tata Punch EV is now available with 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery packs. The larger 40 kWh version offers a claimed range of up to 468 km (ARAI), while the 30 kWh variant delivers a lower but practical range suited for daily city driving. Both versions use a front-wheel-drive electric motor setup.

In terms of charging, the Punch EV supports DC fast charging up to 65 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 26 minutes. Home charging options are also available, depending on the charger capacity installed.

Design changes in the facelift are subtle. The exterior gets refreshed styling elements, updated lighting signatures, and new alloy wheel designs. The overall silhouette remains similar to the outgoing model, maintaining its compact SUV stance.

Inside the cabin, Tata has added upgraded infotainment features, including a larger touchscreen display in higher variants. The vehicle also offers connected car technology, wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated seats in select trims, and improved interior detailing.

According to reports published by The Economic Times, the facelifted Punch EV is priced starting at approximately ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata continues to offer flexible ownership options, including Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS), aimed at reducing upfront costs for customers.
