Tesla has officially announced the launch of its first-ever pop‑up experience in Bengaluru, marking a significant step in the electric vehicle makers ongoing expansion in India’s automotive market. The temporary showcase will operate from January 15 to January 31, 2026, and is designed to give residents of India’s tech hub a close‑up look at the company’s flagship SUV, the Model Y.
The pop‑up will be installed at the ACKO Drive Service Centre in Kudlu Gate, providing visitors with interactive access to Tesla’s technology and design philosophy. Organisers said that the choice of Bengaluru reflects its strong ecosystem of innovation and rising interest in sustainable mobility solutions.
During the event, four Model Y vehicles will be on display, and visitors can take part in guided walkarounds and product demonstrations. These sessions aim to familiarise potential customers and EV enthusiasts with Tesla’s engineering approach, electric powertrain technologies, safety features, and performance capabilities.
In addition to static displays, Tesla will offer test drives from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily throughout the pop‑up period. Interested participants are required to book driving slots in advance via the Tesla India website, according to organisers.
The Model Y showcased at the Bengaluru event is the same globally best‑selling electric SUV that has helped Tesla grow its international footprint, known for its strong performance and advanced technology. The company’s initiative reflects a broader effort to raise awareness of electric vehicle benefits and enhance consumer familiarity with EV ownership.
Tesla already operates permanent experience centres in Gurugram, Mumbai and Delhi, and the Bengaluru pop‑up marks another important milestone as the brand works to deepen its presence in key Indian cities and build momentum ahead of further expansions.
