Eva, a compact electric car powered by solar energy, will be unveiled by Vayve Mobility, a new original equipment manufacturer (OEM), at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi. The dates are set for January 17–22, 2025.

After making its debut at Auto Expo 2023, where Eva garnered a lot of attention, the updated model aims to provide a practical and eco-friendly choice for city driving. Eva was developed to address common urban problems such parking shortages, traffic congestion, and growing fuel prices. It features a compact shape that is suitable for city use.

Eva has a 250-kilometer range on a single charge and can travel up to 3,000 kilometers annually because to its solar charging capability. Its high-voltage powertrain enables fast charging, adding 50 kilometers of range in just five minutes. The car can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in five seconds and can reach a top speed of 70 km/h. Improved driver visibility and a range of smart connectivity features, such as smartphone integration, over-the-air updates, remote monitoring, and vehicle diagnostics, further improve the driving experience.

Compared to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, Eva has substantially lower operating costs. Because of its lightweight design and effective engineering, Eva’s fuel costs just ₹0.5 per kilometer, compared to the average of ₹5 per kilometer for gasoline-powered vehicles. It is a good choice for urban households because of its cost.

The car’s design is well suited to India’s urban commuters, who typically drive fewer than 35 kilometers per day and have low car occupancy rates. Vayve Mobility aims to fill gaps in the small car market by offering a vehicle that is useful and appropriate for daily use.
