VinFast, a leading Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has joined hands with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the Vietnam-Indonesia High-Level Business Dialogue. This partnership aims to support Indonesia’s transition to a greener transportation future.
The MOU focuses on creating financial solutions that will make EVs more accessible to the Indonesian market. Under this collaboration, VinFast and BNI will develop flexible financing options and incentives for local consumers, promoting the adoption of electric mobility across the country. Special pricing will also be offered to BNI employees and partners as part of the initiative.
BNI, leveraging its expertise in financial services, will provide advisory support and local insights, helping VinFast expand its presence in Indonesia. The collaboration will also include strategic campaigns aimed at raising public awareness about the benefits of EVs, further driving the transition to green mobility.
VinFast’s “For a Green Future” ecosystem will be central to the project, offering a comprehensive range of services that go beyond vehicle sales. This ecosystem is designed to support the growth of sustainable transportation in Indonesia, providing consumers with the tools and resources needed for EV ownership.
This partnership reflects the growing ties between Vietnam and Indonesia in the field of sustainable development, particularly electric mobility. As both countries continue to focus on reducing carbon emissions and fostering green technologies, this collaboration between VinFast and BNI represents a significant step towards Indonesia’s green mobility future.
