Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), the manufacturer behind the brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik,’ reported sales of 3,830 electric two-wheelers in January 2025. This marks an 18.76% year-on-year increase from the 3,225 units sold in January 2024.
The company also sold 22 electric three-wheelers under its ‘Joy e-rik’ brand.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard, attributed the growth to increasing consumer trust in the Joy e-bike brand and the push toward sustainable mobility. He expressed optimism about the industry’s continued growth, supported by the government’s focus on strengthening the EV ecosystem.
Additionally, Wardwizard has signed an MoU with C4V, a New York-based lithium-ion battery technology company, to enhance battery technology and improve electric vehicle performance, aligning with India’s green mobility vision.
