Sungrow has introduced the IDC480E-C, an ultra-fast, modular DC charger, at Power2Drive Europe 2025 in Munich. Designed for scalability and efficiency, the IDC480E-C caters to various EV charging needs, from compact urban locations to expansive charging depots.
The IDC480E-C features Sungrow’s proprietary 40kW Power Module, achieving over 97% efficiency. Its modular architecture allows configurations ranging from 240kW to 480kW, accommodating diverse vehicle types with customized charging strategies. The system’s expandable design ensures future-proofing as charging demands evolve.
Incorporating Isolated Air-Cooling Technology, the IDC480E-C offers a fully sealed, dust-free chamber for effective heat dissipation. With IP65 and C5 anti-corrosion protection, it ensures stable operation both indoors and outdoors, even in harsh environments.
The charger is engineered for over 10 years of service, thanks to advanced lifecycle management with AI support. This design reduces maintenance needs and lowers the total cost of ownership, making it a cost-effective solution for operators.
Sungrow’s IDC480E-C seamlessly integrates with the company’s Beyond Charging Solution—a unified system combining photovoltaic (PV) technology, energy storage systems (ESS), and electric vehicle charging (EVC). This integration addresses power capacity issues and ensures a reliable energy supply during outages.
At Power2Drive 2025, Sungrow showcased the IDC480E-C at booth B6.109, demonstrating its capabilities in delivering high-efficiency, scalable, and smart charging solutions. The company’s participation underscores its commitment to advancing EV infrastructure and supporting the transition to sustainable mobility.
