JSW MG Motor India has crossed a significant milestone in its electric mobility journey by deploying more than 1,000 EV charging points across India. The achievement reflects the company’s continued efforts to strengthen the country’s charging infrastructure and support the growing adoption of electric vehicles among Indian consumers.
The charging network has been expanded across more than 470 locations, including residential communities, commercial hubs, educational institutions, hospitals and hospitality establishments. The initiative is aimed at making EV charging more accessible and convenient for users in both urban and emerging markets.
According to the company, the expansion of charging infrastructure is an important step toward reducing range anxiety and encouraging more consumers to switch to electric mobility. The wider network is expected to improve charging accessibility and enhance the overall ownership experience for EV customers.
JSW MG Motor stated that its electric vehicle portfolio has collectively covered over 290 crore kilometres on Indian roads. The company estimates that this has contributed significantly to reducing carbon emissions, reinforcing the environmental benefits of adopting cleaner transportation solutions.
In addition to expanding its charging ecosystem, the automaker continues to focus on sustainable manufacturing practices. Its production facility in Gujarat increasingly relies on renewable energy sources, supporting the company’s broader commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and promoting green mobility.
Looking ahead, JSW MG Motor India plans to further strengthen its position in the new-energy vehicle segment through upcoming product launches and continued investments in charging infrastructure. The company believes that a robust charging network will play a crucial role in accelerating India’s transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable transportation future.
