Alsym Energy has announced a strategic partnership with ReBuild Manufacturing to accelerate the scale-up of sodium-ion battery production in the United States. The collaboration aims to strengthen domestic battery manufacturing capabilities and support the growing demand for safe and cost-effective energy storage solutions.

Under the partnership, ReBuild Manufacturing will leverage its advanced manufacturing expertise to help commercialize and expand production of Alsym Energy’s sodium-ion battery technology. The companies will work together to support the transition from product development to large-scale manufacturing.

Alsym’s sodium-ion batteries are designed as a non-flammable and non-toxic alternative to conventional lithium-ion batteries. Manufactured using abundant and widely available materials, the technology is intended to reduce dependence on critical minerals while improving supply chain resilience.

The collaboration comes as demand for reliable energy storage solutions continues to increase across utility, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Both companies believe that expanding domestic battery production is essential to supporting long-term energy security and sustainability goals.

By combining Alsym’s battery innovation with ReBuild’s manufacturing capabilities, the partnership is expected to accelerate the commercialization of sodium-ion technology and strengthen the U.S. battery supply chain. The initiative also aligns with broader efforts to increase domestic manufacturing capacity for advanced energy technologies.

As sodium-ion batteries gain traction as a promising alternative energy storage solution, the partnership between Alsym Energy and ReBuild Manufacturing marks a significant step toward expanding U.S.-based battery production and supporting the adoption of next-generation energy storage systems.
