Altigreen has entered India’s electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of Minsara, a multi-utility electric vehicle designed for urban and rural applications. The vehicle is aimed at farmers, rural entrepreneurs, delivery professionals, small traders, service technicians and fleet operators. Now part of the JAKSON Group, the company has introduced Minsara at a starting price of ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom), expanding its electric mobility portfolio beyond cargo three-wheelers.

The Minsara electric two-wheeler delivers a peak torque of 172 Nm, gradeability of 33% and a top speed of 75 kmph. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 264 kg and features 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic suspension and a high-endurance rib-caged chassis. Other features include dual disc brakes with a Combined Braking System (CBS), crash guards, a main stand and a side stand with a safety alert.

Altigreen has introduced Minsara in three variants: Minsara S, Minsara S+ and Minsara SE. The Minsara S comes with a 2.78 kWh battery and a company-claimed range of 125 km, while the Minsara S+ features a 3.8 kWh battery with a claimed range of 165 km. The Minsara SE comes with a battery-swappable configuration. The company has not specified a range figure for this variant.

The electric two-wheeler starts at ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with a standard warranty of three years or 30,000 km. Altigreen has also planned extended warranty options. Bookings are open through the company’s dealerships in Bengaluru, Vijayawada and Noida, with deliveries scheduled to begin on December 1, 2026.

Commenting on the launch, Deepak Thakur, CEO of JAKSON Green Vehicles, said Minsara is designed to address the diverse mobility and livelihood requirements of urban entrepreneurs, delivery professionals, farmers and small-business owners. Amitabh Saran, CTO and Founder of Altigreen, said the vehicle has been developed to address practical customer requirements and will complement the company’s existing neEV cargo three-wheeler range.

With Minsara, Altigreen is expanding its electric mobility portfolio beyond cargo three-wheelers and entering the electric two-wheeler market. The company has also outlined plans to enter the passenger three-wheeler segment. The launch adds a new vehicle category to Altigreen’s existing electric mobility business under the JAKSON Group.
