Greaves Electric Mobility’s electric two-wheeler brand Ampere has launched the Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India, with prices starting at ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom). The new model gets a more powerful 5 kW motor, an IP65-rated water-resistant charger and an optional IoT-enabled Intellipack connectivity suite.
The Nexus EX+ is available in two variants. The standard version is priced at ₹1,29,999, while the Intellipack-equipped variant costs ₹1,35,999. Both versions are offered in Carbon Knight and Steel Grey colour options.
The 5 kW motor delivers 202 Nm of peak wheel torque and enables a claimed 0–40 kmph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. Ampere says the upgraded motor also improves gradeability on flyovers, steep climbs and hilly roads.
The Intellipack variant adds more than 30 connected features through the Ampere Connect App, including live tracking, geo-fencing, navigation, remote diagnostics, charging status and battery health monitoring.
The scooter uses LFP battery technology, with Ampere claiming a battery life of up to 2,00,000 km. It also comes with a five-year or 75,000-km battery warranty.
