Bolt.Earth has entered into a strategic partnership with MapmyIndia to improve the discoverability of electric vehicle charging stations across India. The collaboration aims to provide EV users with seamless access to Bolt.Earth’s charging network through MapmyIndia’s digital maps and navigation platform, making it easier for drivers to locate nearby charging points while travelling.

As part of the partnership, Bolt.Earth’s extensive network of AC and DC EV chargers will now be integrated into the MapmyIndia app. This will allow EV owners to search for nearby charging stations directly within the navigation platform, eliminating the need to switch between multiple applications and offering a more convenient charging experience.

The integration is powered by the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol, enabling real-time connectivity between Bolt.Earth’s charging infrastructure and MapmyIndia’s mapping ecosystem. Through API integration, users will receive accurate and up-to-date information about charger availability, helping them plan journeys with greater confidence and convenience.

According to Bolt.Earth, expanding charger visibility through one of India’s leading digital mapping platforms will improve accessibility for EV drivers while also increasing utilisation for charging station owners. The company believes that easier charger discovery will help reduce range anxiety and support the growing adoption of electric mobility across the country.

MapmyIndia said the partnership further strengthens its commitment to building a comprehensive EV navigation ecosystem. With the addition of Bolt.Earth’s charging network, users can now access an even wider range of EV charging locations through a single platform, making long-distance and daily EV travel more convenient for motorists nationwide.

The collaboration represents another significant step towards strengthening India’s EV charging infrastructure through connected digital solutions. As the country’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, partnerships between charging network providers and navigation technology companies are expected to play a crucial role in improving charger accessibility, enhancing the EV ownership experience, and accelerating India’s transition to sustainable mobility.
