Tata Power has crossed a major milestone in India’s electric mobility journey by completing more than 7.5 lakh EV charging sessions through its expanding EV charging network across the country. The company said its charging infrastructure has enabled over 414 million green miles while helping reduce nearly 50,000 tonnes of CO₂ tailpipe emissions, reflecting its continued commitment to supporting sustainable transportation.

The company’s EZ Charge network has expanded to more than 5,500 public charging points across 700+ cities and towns, covering highways, urban centres, workplaces, commercial spaces and residential communities. Tata Power has also installed over 2.3 lakh home chargers in collaboration with leading automobile manufacturers, making EV charging more convenient for customers across India.

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, Tata Power is strengthening its charging infrastructure at key travel corridors and high-demand locations. New charging stations have been added at Kopa Mall in Pune, Indian Oil Corporation fuel stations on both sides of the Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway, and the Shapoorji Pallonji Mini Hub in Kolkata, which features six charging guns to serve a growing number of electric vehicle users.

The latest milestone highlights the rapid growth of India’s EV ecosystem and the increasing demand for reliable charging infrastructure. With electric vehicle adoption gaining momentum across both personal and commercial segments, the availability of a widespread and dependable charging network is playing a crucial role in encouraging more consumers to switch to clean mobility solutions.

Tata Power said it remains focused on building a comprehensive EV charging ecosystem that addresses range anxiety while offering seamless charging experiences nationwide. The company continues to expand its network across highways, cities, residential complexes and commercial locations to meet the evolving needs of India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market.

With continuous investments in EV charging infrastructure and smart mobility solutions, Tata Power is strengthening its position as one of India’s leading EV charging providers. The company’s expanding network is expected to support the country’s transition towards cleaner transportation while contributing to long-term sustainability and the growth of the electric mobility ecosystem.
