Bolt.Earth, one of India’s largest peer-to-peer electric vehicle charging networks, has announced a strategic partnership with Statiq, a leading provider of EV charging infrastructure, to enhance nationwide access to charging stations for four-wheeler EV users. The collaboration, revealed on January 8, 2026, aims to simplify charging by integrating their platforms and expanding the reach of fast chargers across the country.

Under the new partnership, EV drivers will be able to locate, access, and pay for charging services across both Bolt.Earth and Statiq networks using either company’s mobile app. This interoperability is expected to reduce the need for multiple applications and offer a more seamless digital experience for EV owners.

The agreement brings together Statiq’s high-speed DC fast-charging infrastructure for four-wheelers with Bolt.Earth’s widespread universal charging platform, which supports two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers. This combined network is set to increase the availability of fast chargers in major cities, along key highways and in commercial hubs.

Statiq’s charging network already includes a significant number of AC and DC chargers across urban centres and major transit routes, supporting drivers with rapid-charging options for longer trips. The integration with Bolt.Earth will reportedly help improve charging reliability and ease range anxiety for EV users nationwide.

Bolt.Earth operates a community-driven charging ecosystem spanning over 1,900 cities and thousands of charging points, enabling individuals, businesses and fleet operators to participate in expanding EV infrastructure. The combined platform will provide real-time visibility of chargers and streamline payment and access for users.

Executives from both companies highlighted that interoperability will be crucial in shaping India’s EV charging landscape. This initiative is designed to break down barriers caused by fragmented networks, giving EV drivers a unified experience and encouraging broader adoption of electric mobility across the country.
