BYD India has launched the Sealion 7 Festive Edition at an ex-showroom price of ₹50.60 lakh. The limited-edition electric SUV is based on the Sealion 7 Premium variant and is restricted to 150 units across India. The launch is part of the company’s ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ festive campaign.
The new BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition features a Tan and Black interior, which distinguishes it from the standard model’s interior options. Apart from this colour update, the special edition retains the existing Premium variant’s powertrain, features and technology.
The electric SUV is powered by an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery and uses BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology. It also features Intelligence Torque Adaption Control (iTAC). The Premium variant produces 230 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque.
According to BYD, the Sealion 7 Premium delivers a claimed driving range of 567 km on a single charge under the NEDC test cycle. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. These performance figures remain unchanged in the Festive Edition.
The feature package includes a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade and a head-up display. Safety equipment includes 11 airbags, while the Sealion 7 has received a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Priced at ₹50.60 lakh, the BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition adds an exclusive interior finish to the company’s premium electric SUV lineup. With production limited to 150 units, the special edition offers buyers a distinctive cabin design while retaining the established Premium variant’s battery, performance and features.
