Growatt has introduced MINA, its latest all-in-one home energy storage system designed for residential solar users. The single-phase solution combines battery storage, a hybrid inverter, backup power capabilities, smart energy management, and flexible expansion into one compact unit. The launch aims to help homeowners maximize the use of solar energy while reducing dependence on conventional grid electricity.

As rooftop solar adoption continues to expand across global markets, homeowners are increasingly seeking efficient ways to store surplus solar energy and lower electricity costs. Growatt said MINA is built to address these changing energy requirements by storing excess power generated during the day and supplying it during the evening, nighttime, or peak tariff periods. This approach enables greater self-consumption of renewable energy while improving household energy independence.

The new system integrates multiple energy functions into a single platform, simplifying installation and reducing wiring complexity for installers. One of its key features is battery optimiser technology, which intelligently manages individual battery modules to improve overall system efficiency. The technology also minimizes performance differences between battery modules and allows homeowners to expand storage capacity more easily as their energy needs increase over time.

MINA also includes backup power functionality to keep essential household appliances operating during grid outages. With fast switching capability, the system can support lighting, refrigerators, internet routers, home office equipment, and other critical electrical loads. Through Growatt’s smart monitoring platform, users can track solar generation, battery performance, household consumption, and system status in real time from a connected interface.

According to Growatt, the system is designed for residential markets including Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and other European countries. Its intelligent energy management features enable homeowners to respond more effectively to time-of-use electricity pricing and evolving solar export regulations, helping improve the overall value of rooftop solar installations.

Commenting on the launch, Lisa Zhang, Vice President at Growatt, said MINA reflects the company’s commitment to making clean energy smarter, simpler, and more accessible for homeowners worldwide. With the introduction of the new system, Growatt continues to strengthen its residential energy storage portfolio by offering a scalable solution that combines intelligent energy management, flexible battery expansion, and dependable backup power for modern homes.
