Indofast Energy, a leading battery-swapping solutions provider, has partnered with fleet operator and mobility financier Bike Bazaar to deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers across India within the next 18 months. This collaboration aims to boost EV adoption, cut carbon emissions, and enhance sustainable last-mile delivery services nationwide.
This large-scale rollout is set to support sectors like quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery while providing gig workers with affordable and eco-friendly transportation options. By growing Indofast’s battery-swapping network in high-demand areas and emerging markets, the partnership aims to minimize vehicle downtime, cut operational costs, and deliver seamless, uninterrupted services for fleet operators.
Rajat Malhan, Senior Vice President at Indofast Energy, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with Bike Bazaar is a crucial step toward driving India’s shift to clean mobility. By introducing 5,000 EVs and expanding our battery-swapping network, we aim to enhance the efficiency of last-mile delivery while making a meaningful impact on reducing carbon emissions.”

The collaboration also supports the government’s Automotive Mission Plan 2047 (AMP 2047), which focuses on driving large-scale EV adoption and promoting sustainable transportation across the country.
Indofast Energy has been activelding partnerships to strengthen India’s EV ecosystem. These efforts include teaming up with Zypp Electric to roll out 100,000 EVs in key cities, collaborating with Motovolt to integrate swapping technology into MVS7 scooters, and installing 80 swap stations across 25 railway hubs in association with Indian Railways. The company has also partnered with EVeez to deploy 20,000 e-bikes, introduced petrol-to-electric retrofit solutions with Green Tiger Mobility, and established battery-swapping centres with BESCOM in Bengaluru.
With these strategic partnerships and its latest alliance with Bike Bazaar, Indofast Energy is strengthening its role as a driving force in India’s transition toward EV-led sustainable mobility.
