Indofast Energy and Quantum Energy have jointly launched the new Bziness XS electric scooter, introducing a swappable-battery model designed to make EV commuting more accessible and convenient. The scooter aims to reduce daily running costs for riders while offering a practical and business-friendly solution for Indian roads. With this launch, both companies are targeting delivery partners, gig-economy workers, and everyday commuters looking for an affordable electric mobility option.

The Bziness XS has been introduced at an attractive ex-showroom price of ₹57,750 under the Battery-as-a-Service model. This pricing structure removes the cost of owning a battery upfront and helps keep the vehicle affordable for a wider audience. According to the companies, the model is specifically designed to serve high-usage segments such as delivery fleets and shared mobility operators, where cost savings and quick turnaround times matter most.

A key highlight of the Bziness XS is its battery-swapping capability. Indofast currently operates more than 1,100 swap stations across India, enabling riders to exchange a depleted battery for a fully charged one in under two minutes. This feature eliminates long charging waits and addresses range concerns, making the scooter suitable for continuous use throughout the day. For users who rely heavily on their vehicles, this swapping network significantly reduces downtime.

To support varied rider needs, the companies are offering flexible payment and energy plans with the scooter. Monthly energy plans start at ₹999, while EMI options begin at ₹1,499, ensuring that riders can choose a plan that fits their budget. By separating vehicle cost from battery cost, the model aims to make EV ownership simpler and more financially manageable, especially for those who depend on regular high-mileage travel.

The Bziness XS has been engineered specifically for Indian traffic and operating conditions. It is built to handle daily city commuting, last-mile delivery, and even fleet operations that require consistent performance throughout the day. With a lightweight structure and business-oriented design approach, the scooter focuses on lowering overall operating costs while maintaining reliability.

In the first phase of deployment, Indofast plans to roll out 1,000 units of the Bziness XS through its partner network. Over the next three years, the companies aim to scale this number to 10,000 units across multiple regions. The introduction of the Bziness XS marks a step forward in expanding electric mobility with low-cost, low-downtime, and easily accessible EV solutions for the Indian market.
