Indofast Energy, a prominent battery-swapping solutions provider, has announced a strategic partnership with EVeez, a leading electric mobility platform, to deploy 20,000 electric bikes across key Tier I and Tier II cities in India over the next 24 months. This initiative aims to bolster last-mile delivery services and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in urban logistics.

The deployment will focus on cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Vijayawada. By targeting these urban centers, the collaboration seeks to provide efficient and sustainable mobility solutions for delivery partners operating in quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery sectors.

A key component of this initiative is the expansion of Indofast Energy’s battery-swapping infrastructure. Currently, the company facilitates approximately 40,000 battery swaps daily across more than 900 stations nationwide. The enhanced infrastructure is expected to reduce operational costs, minimize downtime, and improve overall efficiency for delivery personnel.

EVeez will play a crucial role in providing the electric bikes and managing the fleet operations. The partnership is designed to offer gig workers access to reliable and cost-effective electric mobility solutions, thereby promoting sustainable practices within the delivery ecosystem.

This collaboration aligns with India’s broader goals of reducing carbon emissions and promoting green transportation alternatives. By integrating advanced battery-swapping technology with electric two-wheelers, Indofast Energy and EVeez aim to set a precedent for scalable and eco-friendly urban mobility solutions.

The initiative is anticipated to not only enhance the efficiency of last-mile delivery services but also contribute significantly to the country’s transition towards sustainable transportation. As the deployment progresses, it is expected to create new opportunities for employment and technological innovation within the EV sector.
