Lineage Power, a material subsidiary of Pace Digitek Limited, has entered into a Master Supply Agreement (MSA) with Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology Co. Ltd. (RJE Tech) to secure the supply of 3 GWh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells. The partnership is aimed at strengthening Lineage Power’s battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing capabilities and ensuring a reliable supply of critical battery components.

Under the agreement, RJE Tech will supply advanced 314Ah storage-specific prismatic LFP battery cells along with associated components. The battery cells are designed to deliver enhanced safety, longer cycle life, and improved energy efficiency, making them suitable for a wide range of energy storage applications.

The long-term supply arrangement is expected to support Lineage Power’s expanding BESS manufacturing operations while providing greater supply chain stability. The agreement also establishes a framework covering commercial terms, product quality, technical specifications, delivery schedules, warranty provisions, and future purchase orders between the two companies.

Commenting on the partnership, Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek Limited, said the agreement marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s battery supply ecosystem. He noted that securing a dependable source of high-quality LFP battery cells will help the company scale its energy storage business and meet the growing demand for BESS solutions.

Officials from Rongjie Energy Technology said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to supporting global energy storage markets through advanced battery technology. The partnership is also expected to promote closer technical cooperation between the two companies while maintaining consistent product quality and reliable deliveries.

The agreement reinforces Lineage Power’s strategy to expand its presence in the energy storage sector by securing long-term access to advanced LFP battery technology. As demand for battery energy storage systems continues to grow, the collaboration is expected to strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities and support the deployment of reliable energy storage solutions.
