Livguard, a provider of energy storage solutions, has strengthened its presence in Jammu & Kashmir with the launch of its first Exclusive Business Outlet (EBO) in Anantnag. The outlet has been launched in partnership with Malik Solar Agency, Livguard’s newly appointed distributor in the region, as part of the company’s efforts to expand its retail presence in Kashmir.

The new outlet will provide customers in Anantnag with direct access to Livguard’s portfolio of energy and power backup solutions. The product range includes energy storage solutions, smart lithium solutions, solar solutions, home power backup systems and batteries for different consumer requirements.

The launch gives Livguard a dedicated retail presence in Anantnag and is aimed at improving product accessibility for customers in the region. Through the exclusive outlet, consumers can explore Livguard’s range of solutions and receive assistance in selecting products based on their energy and backup requirements.

Livguard’s expansion in Jammu & Kashmir comes amid a growing electricity consumer base in the region. According to the Jammu & Kashmir Economic Survey 2025-26, the Union Territory had 24.59 lakh electricity consumers as of November 2025. The expanding consumer base highlights the requirement for reliable energy storage and power backup solutions.

Commenting on the launch, Alankar Mittal, President, Livguard, said that the company is focused on making dependable and future-ready energy solutions more accessible as it expands into new markets. He also highlighted Jammu & Kashmir as an important market and said the Anantnag outlet would provide customers with greater access and choice while strengthening Livguard’s relationship with its channel partners.

The launch of the Anantnag outlet is part of Livguard’s wider retail expansion strategy. The company aims to strengthen its presence across key markets in Kashmir and explore opportunities to expand its retail footprint further in Jammu & Kashmir, while continuing to improve access to its energy storage and power backup solutions.
