KP Green Engineering has secured fresh orders worth ₹258.02 crore, including taxes, from various clients across solar, infrastructure and engineering segments. The latest contracts have strengthened the company’s order pipeline for the current financial year. Meanwhile, its group company, KPI Green Energy, is advancing its renewable energy portfolio across solar, hybrid, wind and battery energy storage projects.
With the latest contracts, KP Green Engineering’s cumulative confirmed order intake for the current financial year has reached ₹497.64 crore. Solar-related orders account for the largest share of the new business at ₹114.53 crore. These contracts include fixed-tilt module mounting structures and tracker-based mounting structures for solar projects, highlighting the company’s growing role in renewable energy infrastructure.
The company has also received ₹92.38 crore worth of crash barrier orders for railway track fencing and related applications. In addition, ₹33.76 crore of orders have been secured for pre-engineered building structures, while transmission tower materials and substation equipment structures account for ₹15.42 crore. Further orders for poles, highmasts and isolators are also part of the latest order intake.
On the renewable energy side, KPI Green Energy currently has a 2.57 GWp independent power producer (IPP) portfolio, with around 1.16 GWp already energised and approximately 1.41 GWp under execution. The projects are backed by long-term power purchase agreements of up to 25 years. The company has also commissioned a 200 MW/240 MWp solar project at Khavda in Gujarat, which is supplying electricity under a power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
KPI Green Energy is further scaling up its solar-hybrid portfolio. The company recently achieved early grid synchronisation of a 50 MW/92.15 MWp hybrid project, comprising 16.95 MW of wind capacity and 75.2 MWp of solar capacity. In August 2026, another 130 MW/195 MWp was energised under its 370 MW/677 MWp hybrid project, taking the total commissioned capacity of that project to 269.70 MW/389.70 MWp.
The group is also expanding into wind energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS). A 150 MW wind project has achieved financial closure and is progressing towards commissioning, while a further 300 MW wind IPP project is moving towards PPA signing. Through subsidiary Sun Drops Energia Limited, the group has also signed agreements with GUVNL for two standalone BESS projects with a combined capacity of 565 MW/1,130 MWh. These developments strengthen KP Group’s presence across solar, hybrid renewable power, wind energy and utility-scale energy storage.
