Magenta Mobility and Kuehne+Nagel Electrify Indian Logistics

A collaborative alliance to decarbonize road freight in India has been announced by Kuehne+Nagel, a global leader in logistics solutions, and Magenta Mobility, a developer of comprehensive electric mobility solutions. At the corporate headquarters of Magenta Mobility in Bangalore, a flag-off ceremony was performed to mark the partnership between the two businesses.

Through this partnership, Magenta Mobility and Kuehne+Nagel are reaffirming their dedication to sustainability and innovation in logistics. An important development in the Indian EV logistics ecosystem is the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) by Kuehne+Nagel and the provision of sustainable electric mobility solutions by Magenta Mobility. Magenta Mobility will provide electric vehicles for Kuehne+Nagel’s logistics operations throughout India during the first phase of this agreement.

“At Magenta Mobility, we have always prioritized safe, smart, and sustainable transportation solutions towards decarbonizing logistics,” stated Maxson Lewis, Founder & CEO, in response to the cooperation. Kuehne+Nagel’s confidence in our abilities to help them achieve their sustainability objectives excites and honors us. This partnership not only reaffirms our obligation to save the environment, but it also offers a substantial chance to support India’s expanding EV market.

Adopting electric mobility, in our opinion, is essential to making the shift to a zero-carbon future. Magenta Mobility is the ideal partner to assist us in our EV logistics operations in India because of their dedication and creative thinking. We achieve major progress toward our Living ESG goals—a key component of our Roadmap 2026—thanks to this relationship. The electrifying program goes beyond India, as demonstrated by our Kuehne+Nagel Thailand team’s recent introduction of electric cars, according to Chellan Ganesan, Kuehne+Nagel’s Road Logistics Area Manager for Asia and the Pacific.

Kuehne+Nagel wants to hasten its shift to a sustainable future by utilizing Magenta Mobility’s experience in electric mobility solutions. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to promoting innovation, lowering carbon footprint, and bringing about good change in the Indian logistics sector.
