Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, its latest electric SUV offering in the Indian market, with prices beginning at ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base AX5 variant and up to ₹14.96 lakh for the premium AX7L version. The announcement was made on January 6, 2026, as part of the company’s expanding electric vehicle portfolio.

The XUV 3XO EV will be available for deliveries starting February 23, 2026, giving buyers a clear timeline to take delivery of their vehicles. Customers can also opt for an optional 7.2 kW home charging unit at an added cost of ₹50,000, which is not included in the ex-showroom price.

Under the hood, the new XUV 3XO EV is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor that delivers 110 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, providing a claimed real-world driving range of around 285 km on a full charge. With a 50 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 50 minutes.

The electric SUV is offered in two primary variants — AX5 and AX7L — and features a suite of modern amenities designed for comfort and connectivity. These include a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, connected-car technology and premium audio options, catering to tech-savvy urban buyers.

Safety and driver assistance have also been enhanced, with the XUV 3XO EV offering Level-2 ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking. Additional systems like a 360-degree camera and multiple airbags contribute to overall occupant protection.

Industry analysts say the new XUV 3XO EV will compete directly with other electric SUVs in its price bracket, such as the Tata Nexon EV and similar models, by offering a mix of performance, features and value for everyday mobility in urban and semi-urban India.
