Mufin Green Finance the NBFC focussed on clean-energy and socially relevant lending has successfully raised ₹90 crore through a private placement of secured, rated, listed redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The allotment was completed on December 4, 2025.

A total of 9,000 NCDs were issued, each with a face value of ₹1,00,000 making up the full ₹90 crore. These debentures will be listed on BSE Limited, offering transparency and liquidity to investors.

The NCDs carry an annual coupon rate of 11.75%, payable semi-annually, and come with a tenure of 4 years, 11 months and 23 days. Per the redemption schedule, 99.99% of the principal will be redeemed on November 26, 2028, with the remaining 0.01% at maturity on November 26, 2030.

According to the company, proceeds from the NCD issue will be channelled into expanding its lending efforts across several priority verticals including: financing of electric vehicles (EVs), support for EV charging infrastructure and battery linked assets, rooftop and commercial solar financing, as well as mediclaim and insurance premium financing.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Kapil Garg said the fresh capital will help the company meet rising credit demand in clean-mobility and renewable-energy sectors. He emphasised that the funds will allow the firm to expand operations with greater agility and continue innovating in inclusive credit models extending flexible financing for healthcare premiums to help individuals and families access essential health cover.

This latest fund-raise builds on the company’s broader growth strategy of diversifying its capital base via long-term, market-linked instruments strengthening its capital structure to support a growing and diversified loan book that spans EV financing, solar financing and health-insurance financing. With this ₹90 crore infusion, Mufin Green Finance is further positioning itself to back India’s transition toward clean energy, sustainable mobility and affordable healthcare financing.
