Neuron Energy, an advanced battery technology company, has announced that it has surpassed 10,000 lithium-ion battery deployments across commercial electric vehicle fleets in India under its strategic partnership with Rilox EV. The milestone reflects growing adoption of reliable and scalable battery solutions in high-utilisation fleet operations.
Over the past four years, Rilox EV has established itself as a focused commercial EV original equipment manufacturer (OEM), deploying more than 10,000 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers across various fleet segments. The company has also expanded its nationwide presence through a dealer network of over 75 partners, catering to logistics operators, gig economy platforms, and small and medium enterprises.
Speaking on the milestone, Pratik Kamdar, CEO & Co-Founder of Neuron Energy, stated that crossing the 10,000-deployment mark validates the company’s lithium-ion battery technology at commercial scale. He noted that the strengthened and exclusive phase of collaboration with Rilox EV reinforces a shared long-term vision to accelerate sustainable electric mobility adoption in India.
Neuron’s lithium-ion battery systems are designed for demanding commercial usage, offering stable power output, advanced thermal management, and long cycle life. These features enable fleet operators to minimise downtime, reduce operational costs, and optimise total cost of ownership in continuous, high-performance applications.
Asif Khalid, Chief Operating Officer of Rilox EV, highlighted that the partnership has played a key role in ensuring consistent performance and reliability across the company’s EV platforms. He added that deeper technology integration is expected to further enhance fleet uptime and lifecycle efficiency as the company expands into new regional markets.
Looking ahead, both companies are formalising an exclusive long-term technology collaboration aimed at evolving the partnership beyond supply into deeper integration. The initiative will focus on battery-vehicle integration, intelligent energy management systems, demand-aligned manufacturing planning, and overall fleet performance optimisation within India’s commercial EV ecosystem.
