Oben Electric, the home-grown Indian electric motorcycle company known for its R&D-driven designs, has revealed plans to expand its presence in Gujarat. In 2026, the company will open 10 new showrooms and service centers in key cities such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Jamnagar.
This expansion follows the strong market response to the Rorr EZ Sigma, Oben’s performance commuter EV motorcycle. Riders are drawn to its sporty styling, intelligent features, and balance of practicality and power. Oben currently operates a showroom and a service center — Oben Care — in Memnagar, Ahmedabad, staffed with platinum-certified technicians.
The Rorr EZ Sigma comes in two battery variants — 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh — with a claimed range of up to 175 km and a top speed of about 95 km/h. It also features three riding modes: Eco, City, and Havoc. Oben’s LFP battery technology offers greater heat resistance and double the lifecycle compared to standard lithium-ion batteries.
To boost sales in the festive season, Oben has launched a Mega Diwali Utsav with offers worth up to ₹35,000. Perks include a ₹20,000 launch discount, up to ₹10,000 cashback, a gold coin with every purchase, and a chance to win an iPhone. Vehicles can be booked for ₹2,999, and are available through Amazon and Flipkart with additional card-based discounts.
Presently, Oben has over 50 showrooms spread across India, including states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh. The company aims to scale its retail and service network to 150 showrooms and service centers by end of FY2026, reinforcing its goal of enhancing customer access and support.
The move is clearly aimed at solidifying Oben’s footprint in Gujarat, a state showing strong demand for electric two-wheelers and motorcycles. By increasing its showroom and service presence in cities such as Surat, Rajkot, and Jamnagar, Oben hopes to reach more customers, improve after-sales service, and drive EV adoption in both urban and smaller metro markets.
