Omega Seiki Mobility on unveiled its latest electric two-wheeler the OSM Vextra marking a new product push into the fast-speed e-scooter segment. Priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom), the Vextra has been designed for both personal commuting and professional use, and will be made available through OSM’s dealer network across major urban and semi-urban markets in India.
The company said the Vextra comes equipped with a 3.45 kWh LMFP battery paired with a 3 kW BLDC hub motor, delivering a top speed of 70 km/h and a real-world range of over 110 km on a single charge. Featuring multiple ride modes — Eco, City and Sports — and modern comforts such as a 3.5-inch LCD instrument cluster, USB charging port, and reverse assist, the scooter aims to blend performance with everyday practicality.
Built at OSM’s manufacturing facility in Faridabad (Haryana), the Vextra will be produced with an annual output capacity of 25,000 units. According to the company, the scooter is not only targeted at Indian buyers but also earmarked for select African export markets, reinforcing OSM’s global expansion efforts in electric vehicles.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, said the Vextra embodies the firm’s mission to “democratize clean mobility” by offering a practical yet technologically advanced EV that suits everyday travel needs across cities of all sizes. He added that the product reflects OSM’s focus on delivering affordable, reliable and future-ready electric mobility solutions.
Senior company executives highlighted that Vextra’s feature set and performance have been developed with real-world rider expectations in mind. They emphasized the scooter’s gradeability of 12 degrees, CBS braking system, AIS-156-compliant BMS, and IP67-rated motor and battery protection, making it rugged enough for diverse Indian road conditions.
The new model is set to expand OSM’s personal EV lineup at a time when the Indian electric two-wheeler market is witnessing strong demand, driven by rising fuel costs, urban congestion concerns and increasing environmental awareness among commuters. With Vextra, Omega Seiki Mobility aims to capture a larger share of this fast-growing segment while supporting broader national electrification goals.
