Quench Chargers today introduced the Slimline, a compact 60 kW DC fast charger tailored for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in space-constrained environments. It is designed for seamless integration in urban locales, highways, and industrial areas.
The Slimline operates across a broad voltage range and boasts an IP65-rated interface, enhancing its suitability for diverse environmental conditions. It also features low standby power consumption and built-in smoke detection capabilities, reinforcing both efficiency and safety.
According to Ravin Mirchandani, Chief Dream Merchant at Quench Chargers, the design process incorporated feedback from charge point operators to ensure real-world practicality and reliability.
This charger is claimed to be 20 percent more compact than standard 60 kW models, offering notable space savings without compromising performance.
Looking ahead, Quench plans to expand the Slimline range with a 120 kW variant, featuring the flexibility to upgrade to 240 kW in the future—without needing to replace the hardware.
The Slimline launch aligns with the growing demand for efficient, modular, and resilient EV charging solutions that can adapt to evolving infrastructure needs, particularly in urban and high-traffic settings.
