Saatvik Green Energy has announced its entry into the battery energy storage sector by setting up a new wholly owned subsidiary named Saatvik Power Storage Solutions. This step is part of the company’s strategy to expand its renewable energy business beyond solar manufacturing.

The new subsidiary was officially incorporated in India on 9 March 2026. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the new entity will focus on the business of batteries and energy storage systems, which are becoming an important part of the clean energy ecosystem.

Saatvik Power Storage Solutions has been established with an authorized capital of ₹10 lakh, divided into 1,00,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The parent company will hold 100% ownership, making it a fully controlled subsidiary.

This move highlights Saatvik Green Energy’s plan to diversify into fast-growing segments of the renewable energy industry. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) play a key role in storing excess renewable energy and helping improve grid reliability.

Saatvik Green Energy is mainly known for manufacturing solar PV modules and providing EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services. With this expansion, the company aims to strengthen its presence across multiple segments of the clean energy value chain.

As demand for renewable energy grows in India, many companies are entering the energy storage space to remain competitive. With this new subsidiary, Saatvik Green Energy is also preparing to benefit from the rising demand for battery storage solutions in the coming years.
