Suzuki has officially introduced its new electric mini commercial van called the e-Every in Japan, expanding its presence in the electric commercial vehicle segment. The compact van is designed mainly for urban businesses and delivery services that require a practical, efficient, and eco-friendly transport solution. With its small footprint and electric powertrain, the vehicle aims to make city logistics cleaner and more efficient.

The e-Every is powered by a battery-electric system that delivers smooth and quiet performance while maintaining the practicality of traditional mini commercial vans. Suzuki developed the vehicle in collaboration with Daihatsu and Toyota, combining compact vehicle engineering with modern electrification technology. This partnership focuses on creating electric vans suitable for daily commercial operations.

One of the major highlights of the e-Every is its 257 km driving range on a single charge, measured under the WLTC cycle. This range is considered sufficient for most daily business activities such as deliveries, service visits, and urban logistics tasks. The electric drivetrain also provides strong low-speed acceleration and a quiet driving experience compared with conventional petrol vans.

The van is equipped with a 36.6 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, which is designed to offer high safety and durability. The battery technology supports consistent performance for commercial users who rely on dependable daily operations. In addition to driving, the vehicle can also supply electricity externally, allowing it to power tools or provide backup energy during emergencies such as power outages.

Suzuki has also included several safety and convenience features in the e-Every. The vehicle comes with advanced safety technologies such as an emergency braking system and optional digital rearview mirrors that improve visibility even when the cargo area is full. These features are intended to improve driver confidence and safety during daily business use.

The new electric van will be offered in two-seater and four-seater variants, giving businesses flexibility depending on whether they prioritize cargo capacity or passenger space. With multiple body color options and modern EV capabilities, the Suzuki e-Every represents a significant step toward electrifying Japan’s small commercial vehicle segment and supporting cleaner urban transportation.
