Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) has introduced the new “Curvv Executive Edition” a more upscale version of its mid-size SUV-coupé that comes in both internal-combustion engine (ICE) and electric (EV) variants. The move underlines Tata’s drive to offer luxury-style comfort and premium features to a broader set of customers in India’s fast-growing SUV segment.

The Curvv Executive Edition places a strong emphasis on rear-seat comfort and refined interior materials. Highlights include R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation technology (which regulates heat without active cooling fans), door-integrated rear sun-shades, “EasySip” cup-docks built into the rear armrest, and, on the EV variant, a PureComfort footrest plus an ErgoWing headrest for rear passengers. The interior theme is refreshed in “Lalitpur Grey” with Benecke-Kaliko leatherette upholstery and white carbon-fibre dashboard inserts for a tech-lux feel.

Mechanically, both power-train options remain unchanged from the standard Curvv models, as Tata has chosen to concentrate on luxury and comfort upgrades rather than altering core performance. The ICE version begins at around ₹ 14.55 lakh (ex-showroom), while the EV Executive Edition starts at about ₹ 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

From a market positioning perspective, Tata is targeting buyers who want a premium-feel experience in the mid-size SUV class—especially those who value chauffeur-style comfort and upgraded rear-seat amenities. With competition heating up and EV adoption rising in India, the Curvv Executive Edition aims to bridge mainstream SUVs and entry-level luxury vehicles, while strengthening Tata’s leadership in the EV space via the Curvv.ev variant.

Visually, the Executive Edition retains the bold, dynamic styling of the standard Curvv, including the coupé-inspired roofline and aerodynamic lines. What sets this model apart is the enhanced interior experience—tech-led, comfort-oriented, and styled to deliver a more premium ambiance than typical mid-size SUVs in its class.

In conclusion, the Curvv Executive Edition exemplifies Tata Motors’ ambition to blend luxury, comfort and innovation across both ICE and electric platforms. By offering refined aesthetics, advanced comfort features and competitive pricing, the company aims to position this variant as a segment leader in the mid-size SUV category—delivering SUV practicality alongside executive sedan sophistication.
