Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced the Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle Sprint Edition today, a sportier version of its luxury hybrid sedan, priced at ₹48.5 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The new variant delivers bold aesthetic upgrades while preserving the Camry’s hallmark blend of comfort, efficiency, and safety.
Powered by a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force engine linked to an e-CVT and high-capacity lithium-ion battery, the Sprint Edition generates a combined output of 169 kW (230 PS) and offers a certified fuel efficiency of 25.49 km/l. Drivers can choose between Eco, Normal, and Sport modes for varied driving preferences.
The exterior flaunts a sporty dual-tone design with matte black accents on the hood, roof, and trunk, complemented by matte black alloy wheels and an exclusive Sports Kit that includes front and rear body kits and a rear spoiler. The variant comes in five striking dual-tone color combinations.
Inside, the Sprint Edition retains the Camry’s premium DNA with enhancements like ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, paddle shifters, ambient lighting, a heads-up display, wireless charging, and memory-linked settings for the steering and ORVMs.
Safety remains a strong suit with the inclusion of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, offering features such as Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (full speed range), Lane Departure Alert, Lane Tracing Assist, and Automatic High Beam. The sedan also includes nine airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, TPMS, and a 360° panoramic view monitor.
Toyota offers an eight-year or 1,60,000-km warranty on the hybrid battery. Bookings for the Sprint Edition are now open via Toyota’s official website and authorized dealerships across India.
