Automobile maker TVS Motor has posted its highest-ever operating revenue of ₹11,905 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, marking a robust 29 % growth over ₹9,228 crore registered in the same period last year. The company’s operating EBITDA also surged to ₹1,509 crore, up by 40 % from ₹1,080 crore a year ago, with the operating EBITDA margin improving to 12.7 % from 11.7 %.
In terms of profitability, TVS Motor’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q2 FY26 grew 37 % to ₹1,226 crore compared to ₹897 crore in Q2 FY25. The quarter’s PBT includes a fair valuation loss of ₹31 crore on investments, whereas in the corresponding period last year the company had reported a fair valuation gain of ₹23 crore.
On the sales front, the company achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales of 15.07 lakh units for two-wheelers and three-wheelers including international business, up 23 % from 12.28 lakh units in Q2 FY25. Motorcycle sales rose 20 % to 6.73 lakh units, while scooter sales surged 30 % to 6.39 lakh units. In the international business, two-wheeler sales grew 31 % to 3.63 lakh units; three-wheeler sales climbed 41 % to 0.53 lakh units in the quarter under review.
In the emerging electric vehicle (EV) segment, TVS Motor registered quarterly EV sales of 0.80 lakh units—its highest yet—marking a 7 % increase over 0.75 lakh units in Q2 FY25. The company, however, noted that magnet availability continues to pose a short-to-medium-term challenge.
For the half-year ended September 2025, total two-wheeler sales increased 20 % to 26.86 lakh units against 22.47 lakh units a year earlier. Three-wheeler sales for the half-year surged 43 % to 0.98 lakh units. The company’s international business saw growth of 34 % to 7.52 lakh units over the half-year. Consolidated revenue for H1 FY26 rose 25 % to ₹21,986 crore, while PBT increased 36 % to ₹2,279 crore.
In product developments, TVS Motor launched four new models in the quarter, including the smart urban EV TVS Orbiter, a cargo-focused EV TVS King Kargo HD EV, the powerful scooter TVS NTORQ 150, and its entry into the adventure rally segment with the premium offering TVS Apache RTX. These strategic launches reflect the company’s commitment to strengthening its EV portfolio and expanding in premium and emerging segments.
