VinFast India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Federal Bank to provide tailored inventory financing solutions for its authorised dealer network. The partnership is aimed at giving dealers greater financial flexibility as the electric vehicle manufacturer continues to expand its distribution network across India.

Under the agreement, Federal Bank will offer customised financing solutions to help VinFast dealers manage working capital, maintain healthy vehicle inventory and respond more efficiently to growing customer demand. The initiative is expected to strengthen dealer operations while supporting the company’s expanding retail network.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast Asia, and Kumkum Jain, Additional Senior Vice President at Federal Bank. The collaboration brings together VinFast’s growing dealer network and Federal Bank’s financing capabilities and nationwide presence.

VinFast said the partnership supports its broader strategy of building a comprehensive electric mobility ecosystem in India. The company is developing partnerships across financing, charging infrastructure, after-sales services and retail to strengthen its presence and support the wider adoption of electric vehicles.

The company recently opened its 60th 3S dealership in India and remains on track to establish 75 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2026. VinFast expects the new inventory financing arrangement to improve dealer readiness and inventory management as its network continues to grow.

Alongside its dealership expansion, VinFast is also investing in manufacturing, retail and customer support infrastructure in India, including its facility in Tamil Nadu. The Federal Bank partnership is expected to provide additional financial support to dealers as VinFast works to expand its nationwide EV presence and serve increasing customer demand.
