Bengaluru-based EV innovator Oben Electric has marked a major milestone by inaugurating its 50th showroom and service centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam. This expansion reflects the brand’s aggressive footprint growth aimed at delivering electric mobility across India.
Oben has rapidly scaled its network, now serving 15 states and 37 cities, including new outlets in Guntur, Ranchi, Jabalpur, Aligarh, Unnao, and Palakkad. Founder and CEO Madhumita Agrawal emphasized that the new showroom represents a key step toward the company’s goal of reaching 150 outlets nationwide by the end of the fiscal year.
This impressive retail traction is driven by strong demand for Oben’s Rorr EZ and its newly unveiled variant, the Rorr EZ Sigma, which blends commuter convenience with innovative features suited to everyday needs.
The Rorr EZ Sigma, introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.27 lakh, comes in two battery options 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh and is positioned as one of India’s most wallet-friendly electric motorcycles. Customers can book the bike for ₹2,999, with deliveries scheduled to begin on August 15, 2025, and test rides already underway at select Oben outlets.
Central to Oben’s strategy is its commitment to vertical integration — designing and manufacturing key components like LFP batteries, motors, chargers, and control units in-house. This approach underpins the brand’s continuous performance quality and scalability.
