Euler Motors has expanded its manufacturing operations in Palwal, Haryana, with a new facility dedicated to its four-wheeler electric vehicle portfolio. The company has invested ₹100 crore in the expansion, which now covers a 40-acre manufacturing footprint and provides an annual production capacity of up to 24,000 vehicles. The facility will manufacture the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV.

The new four-wheeler manufacturing facility was inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, in the presence of Euler Motors’ leadership team. At full capacity, the facility will operate across two regular shifts, supported by a third hybrid shift. It includes an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor line, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery pack assembly line.

Euler Motors has also incorporated testing and validation processes throughout its manufacturing operations. Key vehicle systems, including suspension frames, drivetrain and steering components, undergo testing for early fault detection. Battery packs are tested under thermal cycling, thermal shock, water-wading, drop, vibration, mechanical shock and abuse conditions to assess their performance under demanding operating environments.

According to Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, the company’s four-wheeler portfolio has contributed to an increase in EV penetration in the category from around 1% to approximately 5.8%. Euler Motors said it has secured around 28% market share in the segment, while its monthly four-wheeler sales have grown from about 40 units in April last year to approximately 800 units in June this year.

The Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV have been developed for India’s four-wheeler cargo segment, which has traditionally been dominated by internal combustion engine vehicles. The Turbo EV 1000 is a one-tonne electric truck, while the Storm EV features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including collision alerts and night vision assistance. Both vehicles are supported by a highly localised supply chain and are designed and engineered in India.

With the expanded Palwal facility, Euler Motors aims to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and meet growing demand for electric commercial vehicles. The additional capacity will support the company’s plans to scale its four-wheeler business while also creating skilled employment opportunities in the region and supporting the broader transition towards cleaner commercial mobility in India.
