Indofast Energy has joined hands with e-Sprinto to deploy 20,000 electric two-wheelers across India by 2026. This strategic collaboration aims to boost the adoption of electric mobility in the country by combining e-Sprinto’s high-quality electric vehicles with Indofast Energy’s growing battery-swapping network.
The partnership will focus on setting up battery-swapping infrastructure along high-demand routes, particularly for the quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery sectors. With a two-minute battery swap solution, the initiative addresses challenges like range anxiety and charging downtime, ensuring uninterrupted operations for delivery partners.
Indofast Energy plans to roll out 2,750 swap stations and support 150,000 electric vehicles by March 2026. Over the next three years, the company aims to establish 10,000 swapping points in more than 40 Indian cities, significantly expanding the EV infrastructure to meet rising demand.
Anant Badjatya, CEO of Indofast Energy, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying that collaborating with e-Sprinto aligns with the company’s vision for a sustainable and accessible electric future. He also highlighted that this move demonstrates Indofast Energy’s readiness to expand from B2B to B2C segments.
Atul Gupta, Co-founder and Director of e-Sprinto, called the partnership a “game-changer” for the EV market. He noted that Indofast Energy’s extensive battery-swapping network complements e-Sprinto’s vehicles, offering customers unmatched convenience and efficiency.
This alliance is a major step in accelerating India’s electric mobility journey. By integrating e-Sprinto’s electric two-wheelers with Indofast Energy’s robust swapping infrastructure, the collaboration is set to transform last-mile delivery operations, reduce operating costs, and support India’s clean mobility and net-zero goals.
