Montra Electric Unveils All-New Super Auto in India

Montra Electric, the clean mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has unveiled its upgraded Super Auto — a next-generation electric three-wheeler. The launch is part of its new campaign ‘Aap Ke Liye – Izzat Se’, aimed at honouring India’s auto driver community while offering them superior technology and value.

Priced at ₹3,79,500 (ex-showroom, post subsidy), the enhanced Super Auto is built to deliver better performance, comfort, and safety without compromising affordability. Under the hood and beyond, Montra has integrated features and design upgrades to elevate the driving experience.

On the design and usability front, the vehicle sports powerful LED headlights, radial tubeless tyres, and a reengineered suspension system — all intended to improve ride stability, reduce maintenance, and deliver comfort on city roads. To complement these physical upgrades, Montra’s “One Montra Electric (1M)” connected software platform offers real-time diagnostics, charging station locators, and performance insights through an intuitive digital interface.

In terms of performance, the new Super Auto can deliver around 160 km of range per charge in real-world conditions. It is backed by Montra’s expansive 3S network (Sales, Service, Spares), spanning over 120 markets across India. The company already has more than 13,000 vehicles on the road, reinforcing its foothold in India’s electric last-mile mobility sector.

Montra is offering several colour options — white, blue, and green — along with a special Black Edition featuring sporty decals for a more dynamic look. As the company rolls out this latest model, it continues to push forward its vision of accessible, dignified, and sustainable mobility for the nation’s auto drivers.
