Oben Electric, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, on Thursday announced the opening of its 85th showroom and service centre nationwide with a new facility in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its ongoing expansion into Tier-II and Tier-III markets. The Damoh outlet also features an Oben Care service centre aimed at enhancing after-sales support for customers in the region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by government officials and local representatives, underlining public sector support for electric mobility adoption in smaller cities. Oben Electric said the latest addition strengthens its presence in central India and aligns with its goal to make electric two-wheelers more accessible across the country.

With the launch in Damoh, Oben Electric now has nine showrooms across Madhya Pradesh, including locations in Indore, Dhar, Guna, Betul, Harda, Sujalpur, Dhamnod and Jabalpur. The company said it plans to increase its footprint in the state to 25 outlets by the end of 2026 to meet growing consumer demand.

Nationally, the Bengaluru-based firm operates 85 showrooms and service centres in major cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Hyderabad and Lucknow, and is targeting more than 150 outlets by March 2026 as part of its broader retail expansion strategy.

At the Damoh showroom, customers will find Oben’s flagship electric motorcycle, the Rorr EZ Sigma, available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery variants. The model offers a claimed range of up to 175 km and features three riding modes, with pricing starting at around ₹1,29,999 and availability also through online platforms.

Oben Electric said each retail outlet includes trained service personnel and aims to build regional sales and support infrastructure to drive wider adoption of electric two-wheelers in smaller urban and semi-urban markets, supporting India’s transition to sustainable mobility.
