Global electric vehicle leader Tesla has officially begun deliveries of the Tesla Model Y from its newly inaugurated Gurugram facility, marking a significant expansion of its presence in India.

The new centre — located at Orchid Business Park, Sector-48, Gurugram — is Tesla’s first “all-in-one” hub in India, combining a showroom, delivery services, after-sales support, and fast-charging infrastructure (Superchargers) under a single roof.

Deliveries from the Gurugram hub appear to have attracted early buyers from India’s startup and business community, signalling growing interest among high-end customers.

With this centre now operational, Tesla strengthens its footprint in North India — complementing existing facilities in Delhi and Mumbai — and makes EV ownership more accessible and convenient for customers in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The presence of Supercharger stations at the Gurugram centre addresses a key concern for EV buyers: charging infrastructure. This is expected to support smoother adoption of electric vehicles by reducing “range anxiety” and improving charging convenience for Model Y owners.

Overall, the launch of the Gurugram centre — and the start of Model Y deliveries from there — reflects Tesla’s commitment to a structured and scalable roll-out in India’s EV market, combining premium product offerings with supporting infrastructure and after-sales services.
