VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of Vietnamese electric-vehicle maker VinFast, today announced that it has brought 24 dealerships into operation across key Indian cities, marking a significant advance in its Indian retail rollout strategy.

The newly launched outlets are spread across major hubs such as Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda and Rajkot, adhering to VinFast’s global showroom standards. Each store features modern design, dedicated display zones and immersive customer-engagement areas aimed at delivering a premium EV purchasing experience.

VinFast’s retail expansion comes ahead of its target to have 35 dealerships operating across India by the end of calendar 2025. The showrooms enable potential buyers to explore VinFast’s entry models for India — the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs — which the company describes as combining cutting-edge tech, strong range and performance tailored for Indian conditions.

Speaking on the milestone, Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, said: “India’s enthusiasm for sustainable mobility motivates us to keep raising the bar. The rapid rollout of our brand-experience showrooms underscores our long-term commitment to India. Our goal is not just to sell EVs, but to deliver an inspiring, customer-centric journey anchored in sustainability and innovation.”

Beyond retail, the company is building a broader ecosystem covering sales, charging infrastructure and after-sales support. Strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India and Global Assure have been formed to support nationwide charging networks, vehicle maintenance and customer service.

With local manufacturing forming part of its India strategy, VinFast’s 400-acre facility at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu is designed for initial annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, scalable to 150,000 units per annum. The plant is expected to generate 3,000–3,500 direct jobs and thousands more in the supply chain, reinforcing the company’s long-term India presence.
