Tesla unveiled its second showroom in India, located in Delhi’s upscale Aerocity at the Worldmark 3 complex a major expansion following the company’s debut outlet in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex last month.
The newly opened Experience Centre spans approximately 8,200 sq ft, offering immersive test drives, product demos, and direct customer engagement. With this launch, bookings have officially begun for the Model Y SUV in Delhi.
Tesla also installed its first Supercharger facility in Delhi beneath the showroom. The setup includes four ultra-fast V4 Superchargers and three destination chargers designed to support long-distance travel more efficiently.
The expansion reflects Tesla’s broadening infrastructure push across India. The company has plans for 4 supercharger sites in Delhi-NCR (covering Aerocity, Saket, Gurugram, and Noida), along with additional stations in Mumbai and Bengaluru, as part of its network build out ahead of Model Y deliveries.
The Model Y, Tesla’s first and currently sole offering in India, comes in two variants: a standard Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and a Long-Range RWD. Price-wise, the variants start at approximately ₹59.89 lakh and ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Deliveries are slated to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
With both retail and charging infrastructure now live in major hubs like Mumbai and Delhi, Tesla is laying the groundwork for a strong, direct-to-consumer footprint in India signaling serious intent to lead the luxury EV segment and shape the country’s EV infrastructure landscape.
