VinFast has officially started bookings for its VF MPV 7 electric vehicle in India as the Vietnamese EV manufacturer continues expanding its presence in the country’s rapidly growing electric mobility market. The company is positioning the seven-seater MPV as a practical and premium electric vehicle designed mainly for Indian families looking for spacious and sustainable mobility solutions.
Bookings for the VF MPV 7 opened on April 2, 2026, and customers can reserve the vehicle through VinFast’s official website and its network of authorised dealerships across India. The booking amount has been fixed at ₹21,000, while the official launch and price announcement are scheduled for April 15, 2026.
The VF MPV 7 comes with a three-row seating configuration designed to offer comfort and practicality for large families. The electric MPV measures about 4,740 mm in length with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, helping maximise interior cabin space and passenger comfort across all rows.
In terms of performance, the vehicle is equipped with a battery pack of around 60 kWh, delivering a claimed driving range of over 500 km on a full charge. The model also supports fast-charging capability, allowing the battery to charge from 10 percent to 70 percent in approximately 30 minutes, improving usability for daily and long-distance travel.
The VF MPV 7 will become VinFast’s third product in the Indian market after the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. The company is also focusing on expanding its dealership network, after-sales service, and EV ecosystem to strengthen its long-term strategy in India.
With this launch, VinFast aims to capture demand in the emerging electric family vehicle segment and strengthen its position in India’s EV market. The company believes the VF MPV 7 will attract buyers seeking a combination of space, technology, and environmentally friendly transportation.
